Join us for a screening of PAPER CLIPS, a documentary about Tennessee students who get an unusually moving introduction to the Holocaust. Producer Robert M. Johnson leads a discussion following the film.
The film follows middle school children from a rural town in Tennessee as they collect a paper clip to represent each Jew killed during the Holocaust. The 2004 film won 14 major awards including an Emmy nomination and the National Board of Review Award for Top Five Documentaries; it also was featured on HBO.
We are delighted to welcome Mr. Johnson to share his experience producing this extraordinary and moving film. Mr. Johnson is the Founder and President of The Johnson Group as well as a producer and director. The mission of The Johnson Group is to “produce films that entertain, educate, inspire - and change lives.”
