Being Mortal
This thought-provoking PBS documentary focuses on New Yorker writer and Boston surgeon
Atul Gawande as he explores the relationships doctors have with patients
nearing the end of life.
The film examines the practice of caring for the dying, and shows how some doctors
may be untrained, ill-suited, and uncomfortable talking about chronic illness
and death with patients.
Featuring an informative panel presentation after the screening.
