Families and care givers often ask what benefit might be derived from antipsychotic medications in treating memory loss. Join us at this free program to learn about the risks of medications, strategies for appropriate use and non-pharmacological alternatives.
The program is presented by Elizabeth Galik, PhD, CRNP, who specializes in the medical and neuropsychiatric care of older adults. The program offers one CEU credit for social workers.
A light supper is available at 5:30pm. The program begins at 6:00pm. This event is sponsored by the Hurwitz Lecture Fund.
